Play Daily - a place activation program for POPP customers

To guarantee the best outcome for every POPP table, we developed the Play Daily Activation Program. Delivered over a two year period, with skills, knowledge and tools then available for the life of the table, Play Daily encourages and enables thousands (upon thousands) of daily table tennis moments - at every POPP table.

Play Daily is delivered to POPP customers and community partners as an easy to adopt, step-by-step guide. Presented as a program of strategic and instructive initiatives, it shares an evidence-based toolkit to activate, promote and proactively support the use of POPP tables and the growth of their table tennis communities.

The overarching goal of Play Daily is to create sustainable and socially strong places where community members and visitors connect, socialise and exercise through free-to-play (or ‘pick up and play’) table tennis. The benefits for the players are framed within physical, mental and social health outcomes. The benefits for customers and community partners centre around placemaking and place visitation.
